Mayor Kalfus Throws First Pitch at TVHS Baseball Classic
Golden Bears fans, big news from your own diamond! Just last spring, our very own TVHS Baseball team was honored by Temecula Mayor Brenden Kalfus—an alumnus himself—who threw the ceremonial first pitch at the storied rivalry game against Great Oak High School. In a heartwarming return to his roots, Mayor Kalfus reminisced about his days on the field, even showing his children his 2008 team photo. The moment was capped off with a thrilling Golden Bears win, as TVHS pulled ahead for a memorable 5–4 victory in front of hometown supporters. We couldn’t be prouder!
