Mid-Atlantic Rookies’ Gettysburg showcase keeps the college pipeline rolling
The Mid-Atlantic Rookies operate as a Gettysburg-based showcase program, founded in 2016 and led by longtime coach Mike Chroniger [5][3][4]. The club fields showcase-age rosters, including a 16U team that tests itself on the regional circuit [1].Across its history, the program lists 155 college commitments, 36 MLB Draft selections and two alumni who reached the majors, underscoring a placement track that continues to draw college looks to Adams County [2].The Rookies also surface in recruiting bios for area players and keep steady roster and event updates on social media, a footprint that helps connect prospects to the next level [6][3].
