Mid-Atlantic Rookies give Gettysburg players a showcase platform
The Mid-Atlantic Rookies operate as a showcase program with age-division teams that compete on the Perfect Game circuit, with organization and team pages documenting rosters, results, and event schedules, including a 17U roster from 2018 [1][2]. The program’s presence on X keeps updates and player highlights flowing to families and college-minded followers [3][4].The Rookies’ name carries weight in prep baseball circles, reflected in community discussion among high school baseball followers tracking clubs and pathways across the region [5]. For a local touchpoint, Gettysburg High’s Zach Ketterman — a multi-sport standout — played year-round with the Rookies before committing to Division I Western Carolina, underscoring the program’s role in a college-bound path for area talent [6].With Perfect Game pages centralizing schedules and results across age groups, the Rookies’ calendar offers steady competitive reps and a clear snapshot of how each team stacks up on the showcase trail [1][2].
