Mid-Atlantic Shockers anchor Berlin youth baseball with USSSA and Perfect Game teams
Based in Berlin, Maryland, the Mid-Atlantic Shockers have built a steady travel-baseball pipeline for local kids, listed with hometown Berlin across national circuits [1][3]. The club operates as a registered nonprofit (EIN 26-3178790) and has been tax-exempt since 2009 [4].On the field, the Shockers roll out age-group teams from 12U through 14U in USSSA play and appear on the Perfect Game slate as well, underscoring a year-round competitive footprint [1][2][3]. Recent seasons have included a PG Select matchup and a June 1, 2019 contest, and the 13U side dropped a tight 5–4 decision to D‑Bat Elite at the Columbus Day Classic at Sports at the Beach on Oct. 10–11, 2020, in Rehoboth, Delaware [6][7][5].Public team and club pages emphasize development built on character and teamwork—an identity that fits the Shockers’ week-to-week grind across the youth circuit [8][9].
