Minor League Umpire Academy Anchors Local Instruction Landscape
Florida Baseball Instruction is situated in Sebastian, Florida, and although the organization is currently inactive since its incorporation in September 2021, its regional presence connects with broader instructional infrastructure supporting baseball and softball in the area. The Minor League Baseball Umpire Training Academy, located in nearby Vero Beach, offers extensive training with multiple full-size fields, indoor batting and pitching tunnels, and a dedicated facility for base work and plate instruction (bisprofiles.com). Additionally, the Barber Street Sports Complex in Sebastian hosts two batting cages and several baseball and softball fields that serve youth athletics locally (sebastianpd.org). Together, these facilities contribute to the fabric of instruction and development in the Sebastian region, offering relevant context for Florida Baseball Instruction’s role in the local baseball and softball ecosystem.
