MLB PLAY BALL Youth Clinic Scheduled in Grand Junction
The MLB Play Ball initiative will host a free youth baseball and softball clinic at Suplizio Field in Grand Junction on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The event is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 12 and is expected to draw up to 150 participants, offering hands‑on instruction in the fundamentals of the sports. The clinic reflects a growing regional emphasis on youth engagement in baseball and softball, which may offer opportunities for local programs such as Little Oysters GJ to participate or observe best practices. The event is part of MLB’s broader effort to support youth sports engagement across communities.
