Morristown 1776 AFC lines up veterans and youth for 2011 MCSSA opener
Morristown 1776 AFC, the maroon‑and‑white Continentals from Morristown, readied a 2011 group built on MCSSA experience and local youth, highlighting veterans Chris Quinn and Jonathan Roman alongside attackers Matthias and Jacob Wicks. The setup also included caretaker guidance from Aaron Hyndman, with veteran Juan Erazo considered to add further experience to the squad [1].The club’s 2011 slate opened against Pompton Lakes FC, a fitting early yardstick as the side leaned into its identity and looked to translate that blend of know‑how and energy into results in the county league [1]. The team is profiled as a Morristown-based association football club representing the city in regional amateur competition [2].
