No Escondido soccer team under ‘Savage Wolves’ name; moniker belongs to Pop Warner
Around town, the “Savage Wolves” badge is tied to Escondido Pop Warner, not to a local soccer team. A team listing identifies the Escondido Savage Wolves within youth football ranks [1], and a Hudl club page places the Savage Wolves under the Escondido Pop Warner umbrella [3].On the soccer side, the city’s program and facility listings outline arena and league play at the Escondido Sports Center but do not show a registered “Savage Wolves” soccer squad [2]. As of today, there is no local soccer team competing under that name on the city’s listings [2].
