Oakville Speedsters Secure Expanded Ice Time Amid Strong Demand
The Oakville Speedsters Speed Skating Club has secured additional prime-time ice access due to unprecedented demand, with a supplemental hour now allotted on Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. This expansion enables the club to offer a two‑day‑per‑week, season‑long skating program. The club also reports that its three‑day Ontario Speed Skating Regional Development Program and its Monday Technical Program have reached full capacity. Registration details for both the 2026 summer and 2026–2027 speed skating seasons are now available via the club’s official channels. The Oakville Speedsters Speed Skating Club continues to adapt its offerings to accommodate growing interest and maintain its position within Ontario’s short‑track community.
