Oxford United Leadership Restructure Amid Relegation Battle
Oxford United (OGB) has undergone a significant board restructuring amid its struggle in the Championship. In early May 2026, Dusan Bogdanovic, an Indonesian-based football agent, was appointed as the new chairman, replacing Grant Ferguson, who retains a directorial role(bbc.co.uk). The change complements the existing leadership team comprising Anindya Bakrie, Rudi Laksmana, and Sumrith Thanakarnjanasuth, reflecting the club’s intent to refine its strategic direction(bbc.co.uk). This reorganisation comes as Oxford United face relegation following their 22nd-place finish in the Championship during the 2025–26 season, with head coach Gary Rowett sacked in December and replaced by Matt Bloomfield in January(en.wikipedia.org).
