Park City Academy Amid Local Field Construction Delays
Park City Baseball Academy continues operations as construction delays impact new baseball and softball facilities in the area. While the club remains active with player development and training, the Park City School District’s project to build turf baseball and softball fields at the Kearns Boulevard campus is experiencing delays due to colder weather and permitting issues related to groundwater discharge. Superintendent Lyndsay Huntsman noted that turf installation awaits a sustained 40°F window, and a prior illegal groundwater dumping incident has further delayed progress. As a result, the new fields are unlikely to be available for spring sports. The club therefore maintains reliance on existing facilities in the interim.
