Pearland Welcomes New Collegiate Summer Team Ahead of Inaugural Season
Pearland-based youth sports continue to grow with the introduction of the Pearland Cobblers, a collegiate summer wood-bat team set to debut in the Cowboy Collegiate League. The team will play its inaugural home games beginning Sunday, June 7, at Veterans Sports Complex in Pearland. Though not directly affiliated with Houston Bengals Baseball, the emergence of the Cobblers adds depth to the local baseball ecosystem in Pearland and may present future opportunities for cooperation or competition among youth and amateur clubs in the area. The arrival of the Cobblers underscores expanding interest in baseball and softball across Pearland and nearby communities.
