Myrtle Beach has reimagined Pelicans Ballpark for 2026, headlined by The Diamond, a roughly 9,380-square-foot event venue that can host around 625 fans for year-round gatherings. The upgrade package also includes a next-generation right-field video board measuring 2,228 square feet, new LED outfield walls, and an enhanced sound system. [1][2]Fan comfort steps up with new seating behind the plate (including 4Topps Sport Mesh), expanded hospitality options, a new field suite, and refreshed gathering spaces. Player facilities expand as well with larger home and visitor clubhouses, climate-controlled hitting tunnels, inclusive workspaces, and a dedicated women’s locker room. [1][2]Operationally, paid game-day parking begins April 14 at $10 per car, with exemptions for Myrtle Beach residents displaying a city decal and for season-ticket members with 22-game (or larger) plans. The season opens April 2 in Charleston, with the home opener set for April 14 vs. Kannapolis, following an April 13 Season Kick-Off unveiling of The Diamond. [1][2]
