Prune Packers keep rolling: 22–2 start, blowouts pile up in 2025 summer
The Prune Packers kept the throttle down through the heart of the 2025 slate, stacking long win streaks and lopsided scorelines — 18–0, 18–1 and 14–1 among them — to surge to 22–2 in the Pacific Empire League [1].At the plate, Jacob French has paced the attack, driving in a team‑leading 36 runs while batting .435, anchoring an order that’s been relentless night after night [1]. The regular season runs into late July, with a championship series on the calendar for the turn into August as Healdsburg aims to carry its form into the postseason [1].It’s a run built on the same Rec Park heartbeat that kicked off recent summers — including a tight 6–5 opener in 2023 after a ceremonial first pitch by the city’s mayor, a night flipped by an Alex Leopard three‑run shot — the kind of moments that keep the grandstands buzzing as the program’s tradition rolls on [2].
