Quickball Clinic in Harrisburg Highlights Local Youth Baseball Outreach
Watkins Baseball Academy continues its instructional presence across Central Pennsylvania, offering personalized group lessons in Harrisburg alongside Mechanicsburg, Linglestown and New Cumberland (watkinsbaseballacademy.com). In parallel, the Ripken Foundation recently hosted a multi‑sport youth clinic at the Mark & Betty Butler Youth Development Park in Harrisburg, featuring interactive activities including Quickball—a fast‑paced variation of baseball—led in partnership with local youth and civic organizations (ripkenfoundation.org). The timing of the clinic underscores the academy’s broader regional context as part of a community network supporting youth baseball development beyond its own programs. This collaboration spotlights accessible baseball instruction and the club’s alignment with area‑wide development initiatives.
