Red Raiders Shine as Section V Three‑Peat Ends in Regional Clash
Hello Backyard Football League fans! Though we go by another name, our hearts are with the Backyard Football League spirit as Hornell’s own boys soccer team completed a remarkable season. The Red Raiders secured their third consecutive Section V Class B championship with a hard‑fought 2‑1 victory over LeRoy/Cal‑Mum (hornellsun.com). Their journey continued into the Far West Regional, where they battled valiantly but narrowly fell 2‑1 to Lafayette International Violets, bringing the season to a close (wellsvillesun.com). With a stellar 17‑1‑2 record, Hornell’s resilience, teamwork, and fan support have truly made this one for the history books. We can’t wait to build on this legacy next season, Backyard Football League style!
