Red Sea maintain league lead with 4-1 win in Asmara
Red Sea secured a convincing 4–1 victory over newly promoted Agricultural and Livestock Corporation at Asmara Stadium, reinforcing their position atop the 2026 Eritrean Central Zone League at the mid‑season point. After a goalless first half, Simon Asemelash converted a penalty and Benhur Amanuel added another before the break. Agricultural and Livestock Corporation pulled one back through Aron Osman, but late goals from Medhane Redai and Nahom Amanuel sealed the win for Red Sea. The club now shares the league lead with Denden on 19 points, bolstered by a superior goal difference. The league is set to pause for the national team’s Africa Cup of Nations preliminary qualifying round.
