Riptide Baseball & Softball Academy grows Durham talent with lessons, camps and travel teams
Riptide Baseball & Softball Academy runs year-round in Durham, offering individual and group lessons, seasonal clinics, day camps, and travel/showcase teams for developing players across youth and high school ages [1][3][5].Its indoor facility features multiple batting cages, a turf training area, and pitching mounds—space built to sharpen swings and reps when the weather turns [4][5].Families can find team tryouts, clinic schedules, and registration details through the academy’s website, with frequent updates and announcements on the club’s Facebook page [1][2]. Day camps are hosted in partnership with Durham Academy, with location and parking details provided for attendees [3].On the travel side, Riptide fields multiple age-group teams—listed from 10U through 16U on the Perfect Game organizational page—where rosters, head coaches, tournament results, player awards and college commitments are tracked for recruiters and fans alike [6].
