Rochester Honkers Extend Lease at Mayo Field Through 2030
The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club has secured a lease extension with the City of Rochester to continue playing home games at Mayo Field through the 2030 season. The new agreement, approved by the Rochester Park Board, takes effect in 2026 and ensures the collegiate summer team remains at its longtime venue beyond the expiration of its current lease at the end of 2025. The club’s home opener is scheduled for May 27, 2026, against Thunder Bay at Mayo Field under this extended agreement. This arrangement reinforces the Honkers’ continued presence in Rochester and their role in the Northwoods League.
