Royals Close to Future Stadium Deal, Says Owner
We’ve been hard at work advancing our future home, and we’re excited to share that we’re close to finalizing a stadium deal. While no location is official yet, we’re evaluating promising options in both Kansas and Missouri. We deeply appreciate the ongoing support from Mayor Quinton Lucas and regional leaders who are helping push Washington Square Park near Union Station back into play. We acknowledge the complexity of this process—and yes, fans may feel some “deal fatigue”—but rest assured, we are committed to securing a generational home before our Kauffman Stadium lease ends in 2031. We thank you for sticking with us through this journey.
