Sally Little League sets Opening Day for March 15 after field upgrades in Columbus
Sally Little League will open its season on March 15 at Shirley B. Winston Park, turning the page from last spring’s puddled infields after upgrades to raise and level the dirt, improve drainage, and add field tarps [1].City crews and community donors backed the push to get kids back on schedule, with support also coming in from the Atlanta Braves [1]. League leaders say the fields now handle rain markedly better, even as fine‑tuning continues [1].Sally Little League serves Columbus with youth baseball and softball across multiple age groups, providing registration and season details through its online portal [2].
