The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks continued their Southland Conference push with an 8–3 victory over Texas A&M–Corpus Christi on April 3, 2026, showcasing standout performances on the field. At the SFA Baseball Complex in Nacogdoches, sophomore outfielder Cermodrick Bland went 3-for-4 with an RBI double, fueling the offense and helping maintain the team’s competitive position in the standings. Freshman pitcher Reid Bowyer, also from Nacogdoches, delivered two innings of relief allowing just one earned run and striking out two. The win reinforces SFA Baseball Complex as a hard-fought venue where local talent contributes significantly to the team’s success.
