Simi Valley Pioneers Continue Strong Spring Baseball Performance
Strike One Baseball Academy’s home city witnessed continued youth baseball momentum as the Simi Valley High School Pioneers carried forward their spring success. Andrew Nicklaus Jr., a junior catcher, earned California High School Baseball Player of the Week honors following consecutive dominant outings—going 3-for-4 with two home runs and seven RBI in an 11‑1 win over Oak Park, and following with 2-for-3 including a homer, double and three RBI in a 14‑1 victory (calhisports.com). Meanwhile, the varsity baseball team maintained a solid record, defeating Camarillo High School 6‑1 on May 1 to move to 16‑10 overall and 10‑2 in league play (maxpreps.com). These developments underscore the vibrancy of baseball activity in the region where Strike One Baseball Academy serves aspiring players.
