Southern California Cubs Scout Team Features Local Talent from Calabasas
The Southern California Cubs Scout Team, affiliated with the Chicago Cubs, continues to spotlight promising high school players from the Calabasas area in its UpperClass roster. Among the selected athletes are Jax Belschner (Calabasas HS, pitcher, class of 2026), Lucas Ward (Calabasas HS, catcher, 2026), Evan Barak and Joshua Feder (both Calabasas HS, first base, 2026), Joshua Odman (Calabasas HS, third base, 2026), and Julian Bray and Nathan Rosefeld (Calabasas HS, outfield, 2026). The club serves as a developmental avenue, offering exposure to collegiate and professional scouts and backing from the Chicago Cubs organization. The inclusion of multiple local players underscores the scout team’s ongoing role in cultivating regional talent.
