Spokane Indians Cancel Community FanFest Ahead of Season Opener
The Spokane Indians have canceled their Community FanFest event due to inclement weather, the club’s general manager Kyle Day confirmed. The team emphasized preparedness for the season’s start at Avista Stadium. The season’s opening night is scheduled for Friday, April 3, with first pitch set for 6:35 p.m. and gates opening at 5:30 p.m. at Spokane Indians’ home park, Avista Stadium. The decision underscores the club’s prioritization of field conditions and operational readiness over fan festivities. The team now looks forward to welcoming supporters to the new season under improved weather conditions.
