Spokane Indians Start Season with Stadium Upgrades and Opening Night Roster
The Spokane Indians have commenced their 2026 Northwest League season with significant enhancements to Avista Stadium and a prepared Opening Night roster. The team installed new LED video boards behind both the left and right field walls and upgraded the entire sound system, while rebuilding the formerly damaged concession stand is scheduled for completion on June 1 (kxly920.com). Colorado Rockies assigned 28 players for Opening Night on April 3, including eight top prospects—among them right‑hander Brody Brecht (No. 8) and outfielder Robert Calaz (No. 5)—and returning contributors like Stu Flesland III and Bryson Hammer (bonnercountydailybee.com).
