Storm Chasers Clinch Rain-Shortened 11‑3 Win Over Mud Hens
The Omaha Storm Chasers secured an 11‑3 victory over the Toledo Mud Hens in a rain‑shortened game at Werner Park in Papillion, Nebraska, on May 17, 2026. A trio of homers powered the win — including a grand slam from Abraham Toro, alongside three‑run blasts by Brett Squires and Luke Maile. Omaha took a commanding 6‑1 lead in the first inning and added insurance runs through the third and fourth before the contest was halted in the middle of the eighth due to rain. The team’s dominant offense, anchored by its home run hitters, propelled the Storm Chasers to a 3‑2 series lead. The club remained scheduled to host the finale the following day. The report drew from official Minor League Baseball coverage.
