Storm Chasers to celebrate America’s 250th with Freedom Weekend at Werner Park
Omaha will stage a three-day Freedom Weekend July 3–5 at Werner Park, with 7:05 p.m. CT games Friday and Saturday and American Family Day on Sunday [1][2]. The Chasers will wear patriotic jerseys both nights, honor service members with the ServiceOne Salute, and present a giant flag during the anthem; postgame fireworks will follow each game, including an FNBO-presented show on July 3 with a Sweet 98.5 simulcast [1][2]. Highlights include a Marsh Collection display honoring players who served, a pregame DJ, a patriotic stilt walker and a Betsy Ross flag giveaway on July 4, with country artist Jimmy Weber performing the national anthem on Independence Day [1]. Sunday features family-focused activities, including a postgame Catch on the Field; tickets for the July 3–4 games are available via omahastormchasers.com or the Werner Park Ticket Office (402-738-5100) [1][2].
