Strike Academy Expands Training Capabilities with New Facility Upgrade
Strike Academy, a travel and club baseball organization based in Rockford, has announced the commencement of a significant facility expansion project. The upgraded complex will include dedicated hitting cages with automatic ball-feeding pitching machines, a throwing floor with permanent mounds and radar-gun velocity tracking, and a 3,000-square-foot strength and conditioning area. Multiple-angle slow-motion cameras will be installed to regularly assess players' hitting and throwing mechanics. Construction is slated to begin in August, with expected completion by October. The development aims to enhance the club’s training infrastructure and further solidify Strike Academy’s role in regional baseball and softball development.
