Summit Wushu Academy brings wushu to Portland festivals with youth and senior team routines
Summit Wushu Academy took its crisp forms and team chemistry to Portland’s cultural circuit, appearing at the 2024 Chinese New Year Cultural Fair, the Chinese Festival, and PCC’s Jade International Night Market as the club highlighted its full pathway from youth to senior performers [1][3][4].At the Chinese New Year Cultural Fair, students delivered synchronized basics and choreographed wushu sets that underscored the academy’s focus on clean technique and timing, a showcase that doubled as a window into its youth pipeline [1][2].The troupe kept the momentum at the Chinese Festival, turning a festival slot into a compact stage show built on stance work, combinations, and crowd-friendly energy that played well in the downtown setting [3].Under the lights at PCC’s Jade International Night Market, Summit brought the same polish to a night-market crowd, carrying the tempo and precision that have become the club’s calling card [4].A dedicated senior-team feature and a recent demo reel capture the top group’s poise and the school’s performance-ready approach, reinforcing Summit’s Clackamas base as a hub for local wushu talent [5][6].
