Surrey Padé Growth Nears Staines Park
Staines Park continues to offer publicly available tennis courts in Staines‑upon‑Thames, supporting general participation in racquet sports in the community (en.wikipedia.org). Nearby, at the University of Surrey’s Surrey Sports Park, a major ten‑court padel facility with elite show court, clubhouse, cafe, bar and retail space is scheduled to open in 2026, underlining the rapid growth of racket sports in the region (insidermedia.com). This development reflects a broader expansion of padel and related sports, which may benefit players and clubs such as Staines Park through increased opportunities and broader engagement in racquet disciplines.
