Union City Soccer Club Joins NJ Youth Soccer’s ‘Innovate to Grow’ Initiative
Union City Football Team, represented locally by Union City Soccer Club, has been incorporated into the New Jersey Youth Soccer’s Innovate to Grow (ITG) initiative, according to a November 7, 2025 announcement. The program, backed by the U.S. Soccer Federation, aims to expand soccer access in underserved communities by providing essential resources—including equipment, coaching education, and parent engagement support—tailored to grassroots programs. The club now benefits from funding and structured assistance designed to strengthen player development and coaching capacity within Union City’s community soccer environment. The ITG expansion seeks to foster long-term growth and inclusion through enhanced visibility and accessibility of the sport.
