US Youth Soccer Governance Shifts with Integration Proposal
Hemphill Youth Football may soon operate under an evolving national landscape, as U.S. Youth Soccer (USYS) has endorsed a proposal to begin integrating into U.S. Soccer. The shift, slated to commence June 2, 2026, envisions U.S. Soccer taking a more active role in USYS operations over the next two years. Stakeholders including US Club Soccer and FIFA’s Technical Development Group are collaborating to shape the transition. State associations are expected to vote on this recommendation in August 2026. This realignment could impact clubs like Hemphill Youth Football by altering youth league organization and competition structures.
