Veterans 16ft skiffs return to Belmont 16s as the club’s tradition endures
Veteran 16ft skiff sailors raced at Belmont 16ft Sailing Club in the 16ft Skiff Veterans event dated 09.03.2025, adding another chapter to a calendar that consistently brings skiffs onto the Belmont course [1].That continuity sits on deep roots. The club previously hosted the VJ Australian Championships in the 1998–99 season, a marker of the venue’s long-standing role in national dinghy and skiff competition [2].
