West Chester Township Launches New Management Plan for Baseball Complex
West Chester Township has adopted a new operating model for the West Chester Baseball Complex, aiming to enhance facility operations and expand access to community baseball and softball organizations. The township has partnered with Sports Facilities Companies (SFC) to manage the complex, citing the firm’s expertise in sports facility operations and collaborative approach. The 2026 plan includes up to $250,000 in capital improvements—covering field, grounds, and concession enhancements—and projects initial operating costs of approximately $336,000, funded through interest income. Under the new model, local recreation groups, schools and leagues are expected to benefit from increased facility availability, with the complex aiming to become both a community asset and a regional tournament destination. Ohio Baseball Science Academy will likely benefit indirectly from these broader enhancements to local sports infrastructure.
