What Meridian Youth Baseball & Softball offers: divisions, fields, and how to get started
Meridian Youth Baseball & Softball is a volunteer‑run program serving Meridian and the West Ada community, offering both recreational leagues and competitive All‑Star opportunities [1]. The rec pathway runs from T‑Ball and Coach Pitch through Machine Pitch/Rookies, Single A, Double A, Triple A, and age‑based 13U/16U divisions, with kid‑pitch for the older levels [1].Registration opens seasonally for spring and fall. Older divisions use assessments/tryouts to guide team placement and drafts, and the league outlines fees, refund timelines, and scheduling policies on its site [1][2]. Adults working on the field are required to complete background checks as part of the league’s safety standards [1].Home diamonds commonly include Settlers Park, Fuller Park, and Meridian Middle School, with additional fields used as needed [1]. Families handle questions and logistics via the league’s published email contacts rather than by phone, keeping communication streamlined during busy registration windows [1][2].
