Wolves face JRs Prospects at USSSA Thanksgiving Classic ’19 and New Year’s Bash ’20
On the travel circuit, the Wolves crossed paths with JRs Prospects three times across consecutive USSSA events, building a quick-fire series that stretched from late 2019 into the new year. The matchup first landed at the USSSA Thanksgiving Classic in 2019 [3]. A few weeks later, the clubs ran it back at the USSSA New Year’s Bash 2020, opening with Pool Play Game 1 [1] and meeting again in Bracket Game 3 [2].The sequence captured the typical USSSA weekend grind—pool play setting the board before elimination rounds—and underscored a budding tournament rivalry that saw the Wolves contend with the same opponent in both round-robin and knockout settings [1][2][3]. For supporters tracking the group’s competitive milestones, it’s a tidy snapshot of back-to-back events on the 2019–20 calendar against a known opponent [1][2][3].
