Woodbridge Little League Implements Volunteer Fee System
Woodbridge Little League in Woodbridge, Virginia, has introduced a $75 volunteer fee per family for the 2026 season, with the amount refundable upon completion of required service hours. Each family must complete 8 hours of volunteer work, or 16 hours for scholarship families, to have the fee reimbursed or applied toward next season’s registration. The initiative aims to balance volunteer workloads, enhance organization at games and events, and strengthen community support for the club’s operations. The new policy follows models adopted by similar youth sports organizations nationwide.
