Woodland Edges Seymour in Late Softball Rally
Woodland pulled off an eight‑six comeback victory over Seymour in their Naugatuck Valley League showdown on April 29, 2026. The Wildcats built a 6‑3 edge through the fifth inning, but Woodland responded with five runs in the sixth to secure the win. Seymour’s offense featured contributions from key players, but Woodland’s late surge proved decisive during Seymour Little League‑affiliated play. The teams are both strong competitors in the region and are scheduled to meet again on Seymour’s Senior Night on May 15.
