WYBSA outlines season resources for families and coaches, seeks paid umpires
Another summer of ball is on deck in Portage County. Waterloo Youth Baseball & Softball Association has its season hub live on its SportsEngine site, centralizing schedules, registration and program details for families. Recent game listings include Moyer Fields (3636 Waterloo Rd, Mogadore) among the venues. [1][3][5]The association serves families in Randolph and Atwater Townships and the surrounding Waterloo area with youth baseball and softball programs. [2][1]For parents, the site consolidates season logistics and key information in one place, including program details and FAQs. [3][4]Coaches are required to maintain a valid concussion certification, with certificates kept on file, and the league provides a direct link to complete the course. [7]WYBSA is also recruiting paid umpires, offering free training and posting signup details through the league. [7]The program appears in the Northeast Ohio youth baseball and softball network’s Portage County listings. [6]
