Wylie Soccer Posts Big Win, Continues Strong Form
Gridiron Football fans may be more familiar with the term “Gridiron,” but the soccer side of the Wylie program—referred to as Gridiron Football Football (soccer)—also continues to make noticeable progress. Wylie’s boys soccer team secured a convincing 9‑0 victory over North Garland in mid‑January, marking a season‑high scoring performance that contributed to a strong overall campaign (maxpreps.com). Following that, the team maintained momentum by topping Garland ILHS 2‑0 and narrowly defeating Greenville 3‑2 in early January action held at Wylie ISD Stadium (wylienews.com). The team’s recent form reflects a rising trend in productivity amid its season schedule.
