Youth Baseball & Softball Development Moves Forward in Beaverton
The Yard Baseball Academy remains a key provider of development opportunities for local athletes, offering indoor baseball and softball training at its Beaverton location, equipped with batting cages, video analysis, pitching mounds and professional instruction for players aged approximately 8–18 years (portland.kidsoutandabout.com). In related regional activity, Beaverton hosted a Future Stars Series baseball combine at the PDX Fieldhouse on February 1, 2026, where scouts conducted athletic and technical evaluations using Trackman analytics, reflecting the area’s growing emphasis on data-supported development (futurestarsseries.com). Together, these initiatives highlight Beaverton’s active youth baseball and softball training environment, centered around advanced instruction and performance assessment.
